Version 2026-07-19
This licence sets out exactly what you get when you buy or install an asset (a game or block template) from the Rafflex community marketplace. It is part of the Terms of Service.
When you buy a paid asset, or install a free one, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to install and use that asset on Rafflex tenant sites operated by your business. That is the whole grant. One purchase covers all tenant sites your business operates; you do not need to buy the same asset twice for your own sites.
Free assets receive exactly this licence at a price of zero.
You may not:
The asset remains the property of its creator. Rafflex grants you this licence on the creator's behalf under the Creator Agreement. Nothing transfers any copyright or other ownership right to you.
The licence is perpetual for the lifetime of the Rafflex platform, but it is exercisable only on Rafflex tenant sites. In practice this means it lapses when your Rafflex tenancy ends, because there is nowhere left it can lawfully be used. No refund arises from your tenancy ending, from an asset being removed from the marketplace, or from the platform ceasing to operate.
If the creator publishes updated versions of an asset you own, your licence covers those updates. No creator or platform commitment exists to produce future versions, fixes, or compatibility updates, and none is implied.
Assets are provided as is. Rafflex gives no warranty or guarantee about any asset, including that it works, is free of defects, or is fit for your purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. If a paid asset does not work as described, the Refund Policy is the route to a remedy. If and to the extent you deal as a consumer, nothing in this licence affects your statutory rights in relation to digital content, which exist alongside this licence and cannot be excluded.
If you breach this licence, it terminates immediately and you must stop using the asset. Termination for breach does not entitle you to any refund.
Some assets load a third party JavaScript library that Rafflex has approved for the marketplace, such as three.js for 3D games. An approved library is not the creator's content and is not covered by the grant or the restrictions above: it is licensed to you by its own authors under its own licence, and its licence notice stays at the top of the library file. The current list of approved libraries, with their versions and licences, is at Approved libraries. The notices for the libraries approved so far follow.
